When I started Climb Out of The Cubicle in August 2013, I didn’t know what it was going to turn into. First, it was a blog: an upgrade from blogging on a free platform that I started as a creative outlet in 2011. Slowly, it emerged into my coaching practice’s platform. And now, it’s much, much more.
Since 2011, I haven’t taken time off from blogging, and Climb Out of The Cubicle has seen consistent content since it’s genesis.
From July – September, I’m going to take a break from Climb Out of The Cubicle. I won’t be blogging or hosting First Mondays. I will, however, keep up with the podcast.
I know you’re asking one simple question: what the heck will you be doing with your time?
I will be doing these three things:
- Enjoying my time in SE Asia
I only have 31 days left in SE Asia. I have changed my itinerary around a bit, and I’ll be leaving at the end of July. I am soaking up the glorious life I’ve created in Bali before heading off to Hanoi, Vietnam and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You can follow my travels HERE!
- Spending time with my family
After I leave Asia, I’m headed back to the States to be with my family. First, I’ll be with my sister in middle-Missouri. I’ll be bonding with her gaggle of children, and helping her get ready for her next year as a first-grade teacher. After she’s situated, I’ll be heading north to Kansas City to see the rest of my family and spend quality time with my grandparents.
- Working on a new project business
A few weeks ago, I started working on a new project that has now turned into a second business. I’m not ready to share it with the world yet, but I will soon. Stay tuned, because it’s VERY exciting.
I hope that you can see why I have chosen to take a few months off. I’m committed to providing great value at Climb Out of The Cubicle, but for now, I need to take care of myself for a few months. I will have my phone with me (duh!), so feel free to email me if you need me.
I’ll be back in September (after Labor Day) with another First Mondays workshop. And, of course, you can listen to the podcast, dually named Climb Out of The Cubicle, on iTunes or Stitcher.
